Privacy Policy
We appreciate your interest in Markus Bollen’s work. This statement describes which personal data is processed when visiting panoramic-art.de, for what purpose and on what legal basis.
1. Responsible party

2. Legal bases
We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The legal bases are your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in a secure, functional website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). For the storage of information on your device or the reading of such information, § 25 of the Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) applies in addition: What is not strictly necessary is only done with your consent.
3. Hosting and server log files
The website is hosted at ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf. When a page is accessed, the server automatically processes the following data in so-called log files: IP address, date and time, accessed address, previously visited page (referrer), browser and operating system. This is technically necessary to deliver the page and to ensure the security of the server (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is not combined with other data and deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for these purposes. A contract for order processing exists with the hosting provider.
The connection to the website is encrypted using TLS (recognizable by the „https://“ and” symbol and the lock icon in the browser).
4. Contact by email or phone
When you write to us or call us, we process your details (such as your name, email address, telephone number and your request) to answer your request, for example for an in-studio visit or the purchase of a work of art (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We delete the data when the request is completed, unless there are legal retention obligations to the contrary.
5th purchase of works
When you purchase a work, we process the data necessary for the contract, such as name, address and payment information (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We store billing data for as long as required by commercial and tax law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
6. Cookies and consent management
During the first visit, a warning window asks you which services you agree to. For this purpose, we use the WordPress plugin Complianz. Your selection is stored in cookies with the name extension „cmplz_“ for 365 days on your device, so that we do not have to ask again every time you visit a page (Art. 6, para. 1, lit. c and f GDPR). This data remains on our server and is not shared with third parties.
You can change your selection at any time or withdraw your consent:
7th visitor statistics with Burst Statistics
To understand which pages and works are in demand, we count page views using the WordPress plugin Burst Statistics. Burst works without cookies and without fingerprinting: Visits are counted using an anonymous value that changes daily, so we cannot recognize you the next day or on other websites. The data is stored exclusively on our own server and not shared with third parties (Art. 6, Para. 1, letter f GDPR).
8. Technical monitoring with PostHog
The technical support of the website is provided by the service provider Breuer Webservice using the WP-Desk tool. To detect errors and problems early, page views, clicks, and technical information (called URL, browser, device type) are collected via the PostHog service of PostHog Inc. (USA). The collection works without cookies and without recognition of visitors; session recordings are turned off. The data is stored on servers in the European Union. Due to technical reasons, your IP address is transmitted. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a flawlessly functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A contract for order processing has been concluded with the service provider; the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission apply to any transfer to the USA.
9. Embedded videos from Vimeo
The „How I Shoot“ page includes a video from the platform Vimeo (Vimeo.com, Inc., USA). It is only loaded when you agree; before that, you see a placeholder. After your consent, your browser establishes a connection to Vimeo, which includes transferring your IP address and browser information, and Vimeo can set cookies (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Vimeo is certified according to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Further information: vimeo.com/privacy.
Links to videos on YouTube, Dailymotion or other platforms are simple references. Only when you click on such a link do you leave our website; then the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.
10. Fonts and translations
All fonts are loaded from our own server; there is no connection to Google Fonts or other font providers. The translations of the website into other languages are also stored on our server; no data is transmitted to translation services when visiting the website.
11. Your rights
You have the right to information about your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), deletion (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You can revoke a given consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
Right of objection: If we process data based on our legitimate interest, you may object to this at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
For all inquiries, simply send an email to look@panoramic-art.de. In addition, you can file a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR), for example with the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Information Freedom of North Rhine-Westphalia, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf.
12. Objection to advertising emails
The use of the contact details published in the legal notice to send unsolicited advertising and informational material is hereby objected to.
